Saw Jo Quail live for the third time within a year and second time next to ERR, this time in a church in Groningen, Netherlands. I was almost in front, making this an experience not only for the ears and soul, but also for the eyes. The facial expressions and concentration. Beautiful! 'Between Two Waves' was awesome, with the sound of the rolling waves drawn from the cello. What a sheer craft(wo)manship of this one woman cello ensemble and what a joy to have been watching this and listen to.
